Foundry
Perfect for heavy parts – robots increase productivity in foundries. For casting systems or in the core shop, in the molding shop, in raw casting or for deburring – robots can now handle heavy loads and thus ensure higher productivity in all foundry processes.
Casting axis
Flex Cast is a flexible system for casting liquid aluminum. The casting axis is available for up to 100 kg of metal to be cast. It consists of a servo drive, an industrial robot and an industrial PC for easy configuration of the casting curves. With a backlash-free drive concept, a dosing accuracy of <= 1% can be achieved. The concept has proven itself in robust continuous casting operation.
Core setters
With the core insertion robot, the sand cores are placed in the molding system with maximum precision. The exact position of the mold box is determined using optical systems or, if necessary, fixed using mechanical centering units and compensating elements.
Feeder setter
Feeders are automatically placed on core packs in molding systems or using the low-pressure casting process. Here, feeders are fed into the system in load carriers, stacked by the robot and positioned.
Filter inserts
The filter insertion cells consist of a filter insertion robot and a filter sorting unit. Here, Seedex filters, for example, can be separated and positioned for the insertion robot either directly via cartons, customer-specific load carriers or as bulk material via conveyor pots.
Pouring basin molding cutter
Using a pouring basin molding cutter, a poring basin is milled into the cope box with a milling tool in case of robust and increased contamination. The tool consists of a milling spindle with facing, replaceable blades. The robot is protected from flying sand with a protective cover. The housing of the plant and the sand removal unit can also be supplied. The milling contour is taught, entered via a user interface on a panel PC or transmitted via an interface.
Casting handling
cast parts as well as in the machined state. This requires stable and wear-resistant grippers. The applications range from a pick & place application to machining in the gripper.
Forging handling
Automating hot forged parts is a major challenge due to the heat and dirt. Our gripper designs are up to the task. The robots and cable carriers are also shielded with special protective measures.
Milling / grinding / sawing
The cast parts are clamped in the gripper and moved along the contour directly on the external processing machine with the robot. The designs and processing options range from sawing, milling and grinding your products. Combined applications are usually supplied to suit your requirements.
